Welcome to Luxor Stables (https://www.luxorstables.com). By booking any of our horse riding holidays, daily excursions, camel tours, or donkey trips, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

1. Booking & Payment Policy

Deposit Requirements: A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation for riding holidays and multi-day tours.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled start date of your tour.
Late / Short-Notice Bookings: If you book a holiday or excursion within 6 weeks of the start date, the full payment sum is required immediately upon booking.
Confirmation: Your booking is officially confirmed once we receive the required deposit or full payment and issue a booking confirmation via WhatsApp or email.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive written notice of cancellation via WhatsApp (+20 100 504 8558) or Email (info@luxorstables.com):

More than 30 days before start date: Cancellation fee is equal to the non-refundable 30% deposit.
Between 15 and 30 days before start date: 50% of the total trip price will be charged.
Less than 15 days before start date: 100% of the total trip price will be charged (no refund).

3. Rider Requirements & Safety Guidelines

Rider Weight Limits: For the safety and welfare of our horses, the maximum rider weight limit is 85 kg (187 lbs) for multi-day riding holidays and 95 kg (209 lbs / 15 stone) for daily horse riding excursions.
Minimum Age: Children must be at least 8 years old to participate in riding activities. All minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
Safety Equipment: Hard hats/helmets are provided and strongly recommended for all horseback excursions. Leg protection (chaps) is available upon request. Riders must wear appropriate closed-toe footwear.
Medical Disclosures: Guests must inform the stable owner or chief guide prior to the ride if they have any pre-existing medical conditions, physical limitations, or injuries that could affect their safety or that of other riders.

4. Travel & Medical Insurance

Riders are required to have comprehensive personal travel and health insurance that explicitly covers equestrian and riding activities for the full duration of their itinerary.
Luxor Stables holds no liability for injuries, illness, or medical emergencies arising during activities where personal coverage applies.

5. Passports, Visas & Vaccines

Passports: Foreign travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their travel dates.
Visas: Entry visas to Egypt are the sole responsibility of the guest.
Vaccines: No mandatory vaccines are required for entry, but guests are advised to check standard international travel guidelines.

6. Exclusions & Additional Costs

Unless explicitly stated in the tour inclusion list, trip prices do not include:

International or domestic airline tickets.
Egyptian entry visa fees.
Personal travel insurance.
Entrance tickets to historical sites, temples, or museums.
Gratuities / tips for guides and stable staff (customary in Egypt).

7. Itinerary Adjustments

We reserve the right to alter routes, riding schedules, or excursion times due to extreme weather conditions (such as summer heat peak hours), safety concerns, or local government regulations.
During hot weather months (April – September), riding times are adjusted to early mornings and late afternoons for animal welfare.
